Noriko was born and raised in Japan and moved to NYC in 2002. She has over 18 years’ experience as a licensed massage therapist, and she is simply a master at her craft. Her clients describe her work as intuitive, integrated, luxurious, deeply relaxing, and highly effective. She listens to your body carefully and communicates thoughtfully to customize each session to your needs, which she understands may change from session to session.
Noriko works with both children and adults and integrates a seamless blend of deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, shiatsu (acupressure points), Swedish massage, stretching techniques, and sports massage with therapeutic touch. She is highly experienced in prenatal and postnatal massage, intra-oral massage for TMJ, and techniques for alleviating headaches and neck & shoulder tension. She is highly competent and experienced in delivering focused orthopedic work to alleviate a variety of conditions including recovery from injuries and surgeries.
