MASSAGE:
Flex Spending and Health Savings Accounts (FSA/HSA)
We accept FSA or HSA cards and checks. Please be sure to check with your FSA/HSA or insurance company in advance in case they have any special requirements such as a physician prescription or referral before receiving treatment. In our experience, most FSAs only require an insurance-friendly receipt which we can provide upon request.
Out-of-Network Benefits
We are happy to provide insurance-friendly receipts (aka, a superbill) upon request for you to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. We do not bill insurance companies for services directly. If your insurance company requires diagnosis codes on your superbill you must request these codes from your doctor, midwife, or nurse practitioner and we can add them to your receipt for submission.
HERBAL:
FSA/HSA cards can be used for our consultation fees as well as for purchases from the herbal & nutritional supplement dispensaries we use.
CHILDBIRTH:
Some FSA/HSA allow coverage for childbirth education – please let us know if you’d like to use FSA to pay for childbirth ed classes.
All insurance companies are required to cover lactation counseling. We are not in network with any insurance companies but can submit an insurance-friendly receipt for lactation support for you to submit for reimbursement.
