Claudia Haj Ali is a graduate of the Swedish Institute, where she earned her degree in massage therapy summa cum laude. She is trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, Shiatsu, Thai massage, reflexology, medical massage, and both prenatal and postpartum massage, as well as pre- and post-event sports massage. Claudia brings a well-rounded, client-centered approach to each session—combining strong clinical skills with deep presence and intuitive listening.
She has experience working with a wide range of clients, including the geriatric population, stroke survivors, and individuals living with or recovering from cancer. Claudia is adept at focusing a session solely on the medical or orthopedic issue a client is facing, if they prefer this focused medical massage style over a full-body treatment. Because of her strong interest in supporting individuals with cancer, Claudia is currently enrolled in an extensive certificate program in oncology massage through the Center for Advancement of Therapeutic Arts in Manhattan, which includes over 150 continuing education and supervised clinical hours in the field of oncology massage.
In her previous career as an international journalist and translator, Claudia witnessed how language, presence, and curiosity could open doors. Her practice as a massage therapist seeks to support healing not only through awareness, but also through touch. With a multicultural background—German and Lebanese—and a lifelong commitment to care, Claudia approaches every session with empathy, attentiveness, and professionalism. At Red Moon, she offers massage not just as a physical treatment, but as a meaningful, restorative experience—one that honors the whole person.
